When should the USA Labels be edited?
NutriCalc allows you to override much of what can be displayed in the USA Labels, thus allowing for label modifications, such as using abbreviations and the display of "<1" or "less than 1," for example. Allowed nutrient display options and abbreviations are all possible within the USA Labels.
How to edit the USA Label
Select the recipe.
- Open Labels.
- Select the USA Label.
- Two options:
- Click the vertical ellipsis in the upper right of the USA Label window and select Edit.
- Click on the pencil icon to go directly to the Edit page.
Once the Edit page is open, the steps are listed. They must not be edited in the order listed, yet this is the recommended progression.
At the bottom of each page, there are options to go back or continue.
Below please see the specifications for the Edit page. There are many options listed within the Edit button. By activating the Show Default Values, the current information will be displayed in grey on the right side. The data can be directly adjusted on the left side. Once something has been edited, there will be a notification showing the edit highlighted in red. This will be saved and can be readjusted as necessary. Please see detailed information regarding acceptable options for the Edit page listed below.
