The Ingredient Declaration and QUID (Quantitive Ingredient Declaration) Report collects the ingredient information (including allergens) required on most food-product packages.
On this page, you can:
- View the Ingredient Declaration and choose how to display the allergens.
- Create a custom Ingredient Declaration.
- Select the ingredients for your QUID display.
- Print or export the ingredient information.
Ingredient Declaration and Allergen Options
Ingredient Declaration
This shows the list of ingredients for this recipe, sorted by weight. NutriCalc automatically displays the label name entered. If you have not entered a label name for an ingredient, it will appear as its full name.
To see which ingredients are missing label names
Click on the kebab menu in the upper right corner of the Ingredient Declaration and QUID window. Select "Find Ingredients with missing label names." Each ingredient may individually be edited to include the accurate label name.
Allergen Options
Depending on the preferences and regulations where the product is marketed, display the allergens within the ingredient declaration or in a separate statement.
Allergens may be displayed in bold font, uppercase, or both.
Group Sugars
This option is enabled when Canada is selected as the region.
Note: To be correctly grouped, a sugar ingredient must have been designated as such.

Custom Declaration
Create a new declaration or manually edit the existing one by copying and pasting it into this text field. The default or custom declaration may be included in the Combined Packaging Report, among others.

Select Ingredients for QUID
The QUID section is where you select which ingredients should show their percentages. Most meat products in the UK/EU require this.

Print or Export Ingredient Information
By clicking on the the kebab menu in the upper right corner of the Ingredient Declaration and QUID window, choose to copy, print, or export the default ingredient statement. These options are also available in the Custom Declaration section.
